Philadelphia Experiment @ Rainbow Project

Eksperiment ini merupakan eksperimen rahsia kerajaan Amerika di bawah seliaan Kementerian Pertahanan.Berlaku pada 28/10/1943 (setengah pendapat mengatakan pada bulan 9),ia melibatkan sebuah kapal perang yang bernama USS Eldridge dan sejumlah krew yang di latih khas untuk projek ini.

Projek ini di jalankan untuk mengkaji kaedah menjadi halimunan.Di inspirasikan dari kejadian di lautan pasifik di mana sebuah pulau hilang apabila air laut di sekeliling pulau itu mengewap dan membentuk kabus pekat dan tidak dapat dikesan oleh radar. Dan hasilnya,apa yang berlaku semasa projek itu adalah rahsia kerajaan Amerika yang akhirnya diketahui oleh orang awam.

Projek ini dianggap gagal,tetapi membuka era kepada peralatan perang kalis radar.Dan ini adalah apa yang berlaku dalam eksperimen tersebut :-

Projek ini di selia oleh Dr. Franklin Reno sebagai aplikasi ketenteraan "Unified Field Theori" yang di inspirasikan oleh Albert Einstein.UFT adalah teori di mana hubungan daya semulajadi menghasilkan radiasi elektromagnet dan graviti.Beberapa ujian di jalankan sekitar tahun 1943 untuk menguji tahap keselamatan projek ini.Ujian pertama pada 22 Julai di anggap berjaya di mana kapal tersebut hampir hilang sepenuhnye.Bagaimanapun para kelasi yang berada di atas kapal mengadu pening dan mabuk yang teruk.Saksi yang berada di sekitar kawasan pula mendakwa ternampak kabus berwarna hijau pada kapal tersebut.Eksperimen yang hampir berjaya itu menyebabkan pihak navy meneruskan projek itu dengan tujuan mencipta peralatan perang kalis radar.

Ujian pertama yang dilakukan tersebut sebenarnya cuma menggunakan separuh sahaja tenaga dan kepanasan dan tidak di uji dengan baik memandangkan eksperimen sebenar akan diadakan tak lama selepas itu,iaitu pada 28 Oktober.Pada hari eksperimen,tenaga 100% digunakan,dan hasilnya,kapal USS Eldrigde hilang sepenuhnya.Bukan setakat hilang,tetapi juga mengalami keadaan teleport dan pengembaraan merentas masa.Sebuah bes tentera laut di Norfolk,Virginia yang terletak kira-kira 346 Km melaporkan telah melihat kapal USS Eldrigde di tengah laut kawasan mereka (teleport),dan laporan lain oleh mengatakan mereka kembali ke bes Philadelphia pada beberapa tahun sebelum itu,di mana mereka berjumpa dengan beberapa rakan yang telah mati (VORTEX).

Sebaik sahaja eksperimen berakhir,hampir kesemua kelasi mengalami penyakit ganjil,dan beberapa krew juga dilaporkan "hilang" dan paling menakutkan 5 orang kelasi didapati terlakur (mencair dan bercantum)dengan dinding kapal.Beberapa orang yang lain pula mengalami keadaan lutsinar dan muncul kembali selama beberapa minit,di mana ketika mereka hilan, rakan yang berada di sekeliling perlu meletakkan tangan pada kawasan mereka hilang.Jika mereka tidak berbuat begitu,kawasan tersebut akan terbakar dan mereka yang mengalami keadaan lutsinar akan menghilang selamanya.Beberapa kelasi pula hilang selepas kembali ke rumah beberapa bulan kemudian.

Anggota kelasi yang terselamat pula di cuci otak mereka supaya melupakan eksperimen itu.Tetapi berdasarkan peredaran masa,beberapa orang kelasi yang di cuci otak mula mengingati kejadian yang berlaku dan melaporkan kepada media.Bagaimanapun apa yang mereka katakan di sangkal oleh Official of Naval Research dan mengatakan mereka menghadapi sakit jiwa yang kronik dan di singkirkan dari tentera kerana penyakit tersebut.

Bagaimanapun sebuah bungkusan yang di terima oleh Morris Jessup,seoragn pengkaji UFO terkenal telah membuka mata orang ramai.Bungkusan dari Carlos Miguel Allende (C M ALLENDE) itu mengandungi surat pengakuan Allende yang mendakwa telah melihat kejadian di mana kapal Eldridge hilang dan muncul semula dari sebuah kapal lain (SS Andrew Furuseth - sebuah kapal dagang).

Dia juga turut menyertakan nama krew SS Andrew pada waktu itu.Jessup membalas bungkusan tersebut dengan sekeping poskad dan meminta bukti dan kerjasama lain dari C M Allende.Beberapa bulan kemudian,surat balasan tersebut di terima tetapi pada kali ini lelaki tersebut menggunakan nama Carl M Allen.

C M Allen bagaimanapun tidak dapat memberikan sebarang bukti bagaimanapun memberitahu,beliau mungkin boleh mengingati sekiranya menjalani proses hipnosis.Jessup bagaimanapun menghentikan kajian ke atas dakwaan itu kerana menyangka C.M Allen menipu.

Pada tahun 1957,Jessup di panggil ke pejabat ONR berkenaan buku tentang UFO yang di tulisnya yang diterima oleh ONR dari Filipina.Pada buku tersebut terdapat tulisan yang di tulis menggunakan 3 pen berlainan dakwat yang berkaitan dengan projek Rainbow di mana Jessup mengecam tulisan tersebut adalah datang dari orang yang sama,iaitu Allen.Alamat Allen yang di beri oleh Jessup kepada ONR pula di dakwa ONR merupakan ladang yang terbiar.

Ini membuatkan Jessup mula menulis tentang projek Rainbow (Philadelphia Exp.).Bagaimanapun buku tersebut tidak mendapat jualan memberangsangkan dan penerbit telah menolak beberapa lagi manuskrip beliau.Pada tahun 1958,isterinya meninggalkannya,dan kawan-kawannya mengatakan beliau terlalu tertekan dan hampir gila.Baliau kemudian terlibat dalam kemalangan bagaimanpun terselamat,tetapi sembuh dengan terlalu lambat.Beliau akhirnya membunuh diri pada tahun 1959 dan meninggalkan teori konspirasi beliau di bunuh oleh pihak kerajaan kerana mengetahui terlalu banyak mengenai projek Rainbow.

Information Sheet: Philadelphia Experiment

Over the years, the Navy has received innumerable queries
about the so-called "Philadelphia Experiment" or "Project"
and the alleged role of the Office of Naval Research (ONR) in
it. The majority of these inquiries are directed to the Office
of Naval Research or to the Fourth Naval District in Philadelphia.
The frequency of these queries predictably intensifies each time
the experiment is mentioned by the popular press, often in a science
fiction book.

The genesis of the Philadelphia Experiment myth dates back
to 1955 with the publication of The Case for UFO's by the
late Morris K. Jessup.

Some time after the publication of the book, Jessup received
correspondence from a Carlos Miquel Allende, who gave his address
as R.D. #1, Box 223, New Kensington, Pa. In his correspondence,
Allende commented on Jessup's book and gave details of an alleged
secret naval experiment conducted by the Navy in Philadelphia
in 1943. During the experiment, according to Allende, a ship was
rendered invisible and teleported to and from Norfolk in a few
minutes, with some terrible after-effects for crew members. Supposedly,
this incredible feat was accomplished by applying Einstein's "unified
field" theory. Allende claimed that he had witnessed the
experiment from another ship and that the incident was reported
in a Philadelphia newspaper. The identity of the newspaper has
never been established. Similarly, the identity of Allende is
unknown, and no information exists on his present address.

In 1956 a copy of Jessup's book was mailed anonymously to
ONR. The pages of the book were interspersed with hand-written
comments which alleged a knowledge of UFO's, their means of motion,
the culture and ethos of the beings occupying these UFO's, described
in pseudo-scientific and incoherent terms.

Two officers, then assigned to ONR, took a personal interest
in the book and showed it to Jessup. Jessup concluded that the
writer of those comments on his book was the same person who had
written him about the Philadelphia Experiment. These two officers
personally had the book retyped and arranged for the reprint,
in typewritten form, of 25 copies. The officers and their personal
belongings have left ONR many years ago, and ONR does not have
a file copy of the annotated book.

Personnel at the Fourth Naval District believe that the questions
surrounding the so-called "Philadelphia Experiment"
arise from quite routine research which occurred during World
War II at the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard. Until recently, it
was believed that the foundation for the apocryphal stories arose
from degaussing experiments which have the effect of making a
ship undetectable or "invisible" to magnetic mines.
Another likely genesis of the bizarre stories about levitation,
teleportation and effects on human crew members might be attributed
to experiments with the generating plant of a destroyer, the USS
Timmerman. In the 1950's this ship was part of an experiment
to test the effects of a small, high-frequency generator providing
l,000 hz instead of the standard 400hz. The higher frequency generator
produced corona discharges, and other well known phenomena associated
with high frequency generators. None of the crew suffered effects
from the experiment.

ONR has never conducted any investigations on invisibility,
either in 1943 or at any other time (ONR was established in 1946.)
In view of present scientific knowledge, ONR scientists do not
believe that such an experiment could be possible except in the
realm of science fiction.

Described as a highly intelligent but nonetheless mentally ill itinerant.
Claimed to be a witness to the so-called Philadelphia Experiment.
Correspondent of Morris Jessup,
writing to him about the horrible experiment, and suggesting that UFOs
were using the same forces. Eventually, Jessup dismissed him as a
crank.
But in 1957, he was told (by two Navy officers) that Allende had extensively annotated Jessup’s book The Case for UFOs
with weird commentary about time travel, electromagnetic forces and
moving ships around. The Office of Naval Research even took the trouble
to re-print this annotated version, which is known as the infamous Varo
Edition.

After this revelation, Jessup feared that there was something to
what Allende had told him. Jessup also said he was plagued by what he
called strange coincidences.”Two years later, Jessup would be found
asphixiated in his car, an apparent suicide.

Astronomer and writer.
Author of The Case for UFOs (1955).
Morris K. Jessup came to believe an elaborate UFO conspiracy
involving two races of aliens: the LMs who were friendly to earthlings
and the SMs who were hostile. (Compare to Dero and Tero).
Jessup was also a correspondent of the mysterious Carlos Allende. Allende’s annotated copy of Jessup’s book was reprinted with
the marginalia at the Navy’s request by the Varo Manufacturing Company
of Garland, Texas. They printed a run of 127 (or 200) books, which are
now an exceedingly rare and valued tomes in certain ufological circles.

Jessup became increasingly obsessed and confused by his
correspondence with Allende — a man whom he and the Navy were never
able to actually track down.
Morris Jessup apparently commited suicide by asphyxiating himself in his car on April 29, 1959. (Revelations, 198-208)
